It seems like the blood orange soda would be hard to find, but Target carries Archer Farms Italian Blood Orange soda.
I’ve gotten to visit the British Virgin Islands twice. Though I didn’t have this drink while I was there, I found this recipe in my Bartender’s Bible and liked it.

Pour rum into a chilled highball glass with several ice cubes. Squeeze lime over drink and drop into glass. Fill with cold ginger beer and stir gently.
